We’re continuing our exploration of pandemic-related court backlog this week with a look at courts in Idaho.

According to Idaho court officials, the state’s court backlog has been steadily increasing since March 2020.  And although Idaho’s courts have actively been trying to address the situation, officials report they are unsure when the backlog will be resolved. Sara Ormudson, the Administrative Director of Idaho courts, states it is too soon to tell if the backlog will be – or can be – fully addressed in 2021.
