“The Adult Drug Court (ADC) Discretionary Grant Program provides financial and technical assistance to states, state courts, local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribal governments to plan, implement, and enhance the operations of adult drug courts.”

SAMHSA: FY 2023 Grants to Expand Substance Use Disorder
Treatment Capacity in Adult and Family Treatment
Drug Courts
This opportunity from Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), is to expand substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery support services in existing drug courts.
Eligible Applicants
- State and local governments
- Federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes, tribal organizations, Urban Indian Organizations, and consortia of tribes or tribal organizations
- Public or private universities and colleges
- Community- and faith-based organizations
SAMHSA: FY 2023 Adult Reentry Program
From SAMHSA, the purpose of this program is to expand substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and related recovery and reentry services to sentenced adults in the criminal justice system with a SUD and/or co-occurring substance use and mental disorders, who are returning to their families and community following a period of incarceration in state and local
facilities including prisons, jails, or detention centers.
Eligible Applicants
- Domestic public and private non-profit entities.
- State governments, The District of Columbia, Guam, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the
