Reconnect offers multiple location monitoring options to meet program needs and risk-levels.
Spot Location Checks
When ordered by the court, Reconnect’s app-based spot location checks can be used to accurately confirm an individual’s location. Spot location checks can be utilized in conjunction with multiple Reconnect features or turned off.
- Event Check-ins
- Flexible and customizable location checks used to confirm attendance at a program event. These check-ins can be set up by program staff or by participants.
- Virtual Curfew Checks
- Accurately verify individuals are at home during their curfew period. Check-ins trigger randomly and confirm identity and if the individual is at an approved location.
HARDWARE-FREE 24/7 LOCATION MONITORING
Case managers can non-invasively gather the location of a participant using the phone’s GPS, Wi-Fi, and cellular capabilities. When the feature is enabled, participants receive random check-in requests with biometric recognition to ensure the phone is staying with them. The location is placed on a web interface (map or satellite view). All location history is saved, and inclusion and exclusion zones can be employed.
